ESCAPE: Arte-Arvoradas de Escape, de Stela Santos

This booklet ESCAPE: Metal Tree Art from Maputo presents photographs of metal trees of exhaust-pipes I have made in the City of Maputo and its surroundings. The City of Maputo is the capital of Mozambique.

The photographs display the life of these trees from their birth in the early morning to their burial in the evening. Beauty and creativity emerge in the struggle for survival of the Mozambican. 

 

A brochura ESCAPE: Arte-Arvoradas de Escape apresenta fotografias de árvores metálicas de tubos de escape que tirei na Cidade e Província de Maputo. A Cidade de Maputo é a capital de Moçambique.

As fotografias mostram a vida dessas árvores a partir do nascimento na manhã cedo até ao enterro quando a noite cair. A beleza e a criatividade emergem na luta pela sobrevivência do moçambicano.
